TRACK RECORD:
* Increased market share of a major oil company in both South Africa and Chile. In South Africa, designed and implemented an automation strategy which put the company at the forefront of the market by being the first in its industry to accept Debit Cards. This resulted in a 20% increase in market share.
* In Chile, coordinated international specialists in producing a revolutionary fraud proof system for the Commercial Road Transport sector. Directed the design and development by specialists in Chile, New Zealand, Israel and Argentina. The market launch materials were produced in neighboring Argentina to preserve confidentiality. The system was well-received by the lucrative CRT sector in that country; one prestigious customer was the Chilean Presidential fleet of vehicles.
* Started and ran a consulting company in South America, with communications almost exclusively in Spanish.
* Invited to accompany a Venezuelan company in their search for automation systems in the USA. Design of their Marketing related Automation Strategy ensued, and guidance was given - on an ongoing basis - on Project direction and execution.
* Invited to Colombia to advise a company there on the design of their Marketing related Automation Strategy.
* Won a contract for marketing assistance to a Middle East manufacturer of automation systems. Provided advice and marketing support to their distributors in Colombia, Peru, Chile, and Argentina. Established new marketing representation for them in two new countries with the largest markets: Venezuela and Brazil, and assisted with start-up in both countries.
* Increased revenues and profits in companies in the USA. Assisted a small family-owned company in southeast Utah that retails and wholesales Native American Arts and Crafts, and also has a restaurant. Its business had previously been very seasonal. Introduced a strong Internet presence and direct e-mailer communications program. Within a year their internet business was bringing in more than a third of total revenues.
* In California a Lifestyle Center web site had languishing hits and, as a result, not enough bookings on their 3-week program. Redesigned their internet marketing strategy and communications. Web site visits grew exponentially. Before the marketing strategy and redesign, visits were down to 126/month. The first month thereafter 13,000 web site visits were achieved, and within 6 months were surpassing 5000 per DAY. By month 4, revenues from the 3-week program had almost doubled.
* In New Zealand, assisted a manufacturing company to open new markets in Chile and Peru. Introduced them to the CEO's of the major oil companies; evaluated and shortlisted appropriate Chilean and Peruvian support companies and interviewed and shortlisted local English-speaking candidates for a future sales force in those countries.
Currently adding value in the following areas:
* Expanding export markets for New Zealand companies; target markets are South and North America.
